In 2009, I learned more about art than perhaps any other year of my life.
I met and received critiques from most of my living art heroes and I explored and struggled with some very specific stylistic choices, attempting to be as critical of my own work as possible.
2010 will, no doubt, be another year of visual exploration and struggle, but said exploration and struggle will be informed and focused by the experiential education I had in 2009.
One of my current pursuits is to produce a series of environment drawings with a gestural feel. I explain this concept in detail in the episode.
I also give a little teaser about some of the things I have in store for The ArtCast in 2010.
